Collection: The Old Man in the Mountain Collection
The Old Man of the Mountain, also known as the Great Stone Face or the Profile, was located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. This rock formation appeared to be the jagged profile of a face when viewed from the north. The rock was 1,200 feet above Profile Lake and measured 40 feet tall and 25 feet wide. The site is located in the town of Franconia, NH. This formation which was discovered around 1805 collapsed between midnight and 2 am on May 3rd 2003.
This collection pays tribute to the spirit of the "OLD MAN".
